How did you arrive at Shamrock Financial?
I was laid off at Nortek after the company was acquired.  While for an Executive Assistant position, I saw the job opening for Shamrock Financial. I also submitted my resume through my aunt, Sue Ottone, who works here.

What are you known for professionally?

I’m known for making the lives of busy executives easier.  I have the knack for keeping them organized.  I’ll also help anyone who needs it!

Who have you worked with in the past and in what capacity?

I worked at Wasserman Real Estate Capital in Providence as a receptionist and administrative assistant for 8 years.  At Nortek in Providence, I worked as an Executive Assistant for the Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

What are you most passionate about in your work life?

I am passionate about learning new things every day.  Not only does it help me in my career, but it makes me a better asset to the company.

And personally, what are you passionate about personally?

I am passionate about my children. I enjoy having fun with them and seeing their funny moments and accomplishments.

What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

I spend most of my weekends with my fiancé and our children. You can find us at the beach, zoo, sports games/practices, or family events.

Where did you grow up and are you still there?

I lived in East Providence until I was ten, and then we moved to Pawtucket. I left Pawtucket in 2014 to buy a new home in Cranston where I now live.

Are there any non-profit groups you love, and why?

Birthday Wishes is one of my favorite non-profits. It provides birthday parties to children living in shelters. If the shelter cannot accommodate for a party, the child is given a Birthday-In-A-Box which are boxes filled with all the party supplies, party favors, and presents they would need for a party.  That program allows Birthday Wishes to reach homeless children in almost any living situation.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

My family!
