How did you arrive at Shamrock? What path brought you here?
Suzanne Caldeira reached out and asked me if I’d be open to talking to her about a job; figuring it couldn’t hurt to at least hear her out, I accepted and now here I am! It takes a special kind of person and company to convince you to completely change industries, and I think that speaks volumes about Suzanne and Shamrock.

What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?

My resourcefulness. I truly believe there’s a solution for any problem, and I love finding the unique and unexpected ones.

What do your ideal clients say about you?

That they want to work with me again!

Who have you worked with in the past? And what have you done for them?

I was working as a Compliance Analyst for a TPA firm in Providence, before joining Shamrock.

What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?

Problem solving! One of the best feelings is when you’re able to come through with an answer or a solution when everyone else was ready to give up on it.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about? A few of your favorite things?

I love reading. I think it’s a spectacular way to see the world from new and different perspectives; even when you’re reading fiction. It gets you into the head space of so many different characters, personalities, and walks of life. I find it to be extremely rewarding, and not just for entertainment. I’m fast approaching a need for a library to house all the books I own.

Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

My weekends are all about spending time with friends and family. I am very fortunate to have a lot of wonderful people in my life, and spending time with them is the perfect way to end and start my weeks.

Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?

I grew up Harrisville, which is a cute little town way up north in the woods of Rhode Island. I’m now living in North Scituate where I can enjoy that same small town charm, but I have easier access to the highway. It’s the best of both worlds!

Any volunteer activities you’re crazy about?

One of my favorite things to do right now is foster dogs. I have the best foster dog staying with me right now, Lana. She was pulled from a kill shelter in NYC, and despite having a pretty rough start to life she’s the most lovable, and sweet animal I have ever met. It will be very tough for me when she finds her forever home.

Any nonprofits you love, & why?

The animal rescue I foster through, AmsterDog, and Little Heroes, a nonprofit organization that dedicates itself to helping special needs children and their families with everything from medical supplies and therapy, to toys and mobile devices.

Any awards or medals, or even medallions? Personal okay, too.

Not to brag, but I once won a participation medal in a Bouldrdash.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

Physical books. No Kindles for me!
